Idis DirectIP solution enters ME security buying chain

Brentford, Essex (UK)

In January, Idis launched the DirectIP solution in the Middle East at Intersec 2014, Dubai UAE.
DirectIP delivers plug-and-play simplicity combined with high quality performance, compatibility and with an economic price point. Idis hosted an open media conference on the company's stand at Intersec with information about how DirectIP is able to benefit the security buying chain through its inherent simplicity and high performance.

According to Martin Cowly, Channel Manager for Idis Europe, UK, the company first launched the DirecIP solution at Ifsec International (UK) in May 2013, and as the result of demand and increasing enquiries from the Middle East region, Idis decided to introduce the solution at Intersec.  The company believes that network and HD systems today are way too complicated and expensive and the Idis DirectIP series provides an HD solution that is truly plug and play.

The biggest advantage of the Idis DirectIP has been developed by removing the complicated IP address settings and thereby making connection as easy as with traditional analogue CCTV systems; so called theIP without PC.  Martin explained that this feature requires no sophisticated network or IT experience or background sales engineering for channel partners that promote the Idis DirectIP solution. In addition, the company believes that the result often produces a high level of satisfaction from the end users that have implemented the solution and this in turn produces a relatively quick revenue increase for Idis channel partners. Very little training is involved and there are only a few costs in terms of selling and using DirectIP. "It is a win-win solution for everyone." confirmed Martin.
