Huperlab unveils Huper 3D Gatetracer at Ifsec 2018

Taipei, Taiwan

Huper Laboratories (Huperlab) is to launch the innovative Huper 3D Gatetracer based on its proprietary 3D stereo vision technologies at this year’s Ifsec International, 19-21 June 2018, Excel London. Along with the demonstrations, visitors will be able to explore how this stereoscopic technology can continuously track and identify tailgaters or intruders attempting to outsmart the access control system to prevent a security breach.

Utilising the Huper-Eyes dual-lens stereo camera, Huper 3D Gatetracer incorporates proprietary stereo vision technology to construct and detect an in depth image of the intruder/tailgater. The stereoscopic technology, with height filter method, can better distinguish the moving objects from the background and deliver a high tolerance to light and shadow changes the door suddenly opens.

With greater convenience, the solution can seamlessly integrate with an existing access control system and biometric sensors via digital inputs and outputs(I/Os) to trigger alerts and control the door gates at multiple door accesses for higher security demands. For certain application conditions, the system allows users to further define single/double detection lines and omit U-turns, based on the surroundings for avoiding false alarms.

Visitors can also check out Huperlab’s newly developed web-based analysis chart and occupancy counting dashboard, which provides ease of use across devices for easy setup and quick business monitoring/management.
