Hunt to release new cube IP camera

Taipei, Taiwan

Hunt Electronic is releasing a cube IP camera, the HLC-85EM, which delivers high-definitive video quality at 720P real-time.
To enhance its HLC-series, Hunt has released the new model, HLC-85EM, in to its cube IP camera line. The HLC-85EM is coupled with a 1/4” megapixel CMOS sensor with 2.8mm (at F1.8) to reproduce images at HD 720p resolution (max. 1280x800@30fps). With features of digital wide dynamic range (WDR) and 3D+2D digital noise reduction, the cube IP camera has been designed to reproduce video with crystal clear quality. It is equipped with 4 IR LEDs (850nM) for radiation distances of up to 5 metres. Also supporting PIR and WPR, this IP camera includes a built-in IR-cut filter mechanism to ensure clear video 24/7.

The cube IP camera features PoE (Power Over Ethernet) and supports 10/100 Base-T compatible to network protocols of IPv6, IPv4, HTTP, HTTPS, SNMP, QoS/DSCP, Access list, IEEE 802.1X, RTSP, TCP/IP, UDP, SMTP, FTP, PPPoE, DHCP, DDNS, NTP, UPnP, 3GPP, SAMBA, Bonjour in wired connections. It is optionally available in a wireless model (802.11 b/g/n) on request. The HLC-85EM IP camera offers H.264 and M-JPEG compression formats that supports triple streaming to efficient video transmission and storage.

To avoid privacy invasion, the compact cube IP camera offers a privacy mask setting for up to 3 different areas. With its motion detection functions, the HLC-85EM will trigger and then send an email, log to FTP, save to SD card, and DO / SAMBA for system intelligence and management. At the menu set-up stage, the camera allows users to set pre-/post-alarm timing requirements for recording configuration when any events are triggered.

In view of cost, value and efficiency, according to Hunt, the HLC-85EM offers a great combination of advantages to users for applications in residential areas, offices, stores and shops, factories, and other indoor commercial/industrial applications.
