User friendly PoE NVRs from Hunt

Taipei, Taiwan

Hunt Electronic, established in 1988, has launched its new PoE NVR series, HNR-04EK, HNR-09EF, HNR-16EF.  This new NVR series offers models with 4, 9 and 16 channels and they have been developed with easy to use features and straight forward plug-and-play camera network configuration.

This new PoE NVR range aims to reduce the gap between end users and system integrators. When the cameras are plugged-in, the IP addresses will be automatically assigned and added to the recorder in less than 10 seconds, making this series a good choice for end users and the SOHO market in terms of installation and costs, as the product installation is simple and the use of supportive hardware is reduced through not having to install an additional PoE switch.

The series is also complemented with a Smart HDD feature, a valuable tool for evaluating the HDD status and performance. Data loss errors will be minimized since the machine will notify the user by email if there is any physical damage on the hard disk.

The power management feature can be configured to turn On/Off PoE power, to the connected IP cameras through its power management interface, allowing rebooting of the cameras by pressing one single button, and increasing the user convenience.

The Hunt PoE NVR series includes real-time recording (30fps per channel) at 5MP resolution in all channels, with a throughput of up to 64Mpbs. This new innovation will be showcased at the forthcoming Ifsec International fair, next week in London.
