Hiqview full HD indoor IP dome with IR

Taipei, Taiwan

Hiqview, a professional IP camera and surveillance solution supplier, has launched a new surface-mount indoor dome camera, the HIQ-5350, which deploys a 1/2.7" CMOS sensor, includes 6 LEDs and an all-IP architecture to reproduce clear images in both day and night modes, 24/7.

The Hiqview HIQ-5350 supports image output of up to 2-megapixel resolution and offers multiple resolution options (1920x1080, 1280x720, 640x480, 320x240, 176x144). Under full HD resolution, the HIQ-5350 is designed to produce effective quality images at 30fps@1080p in real-time. Users can choose a suitable streaming format to meet different environmental conditions.

Digital Wide Dynamic Range (D-WDR) technology helps the HIQ-5350 perform well even under difficult lighting conditions, such as with a strong backlight or dim lights. Suppose the camera faces the sun, and a man is standing in front of it, usually the man’s face would be too dark to see. D-WDR uses different exposures for different objects, lowers the light contrast, and therefore can reveal the clear features of the man’s face. The HIQ-5350 also includes a DNR (Digital Noise Reduction) function to eliminate image noise that might be generated due to interference, heat, and/or dimming light conditions and results in clear images coupled with a much smaller file size for transmission and storage. Equipped with 6 units of IR LEDs, the HIQ-5350 supports IR radiation for a distance of up to 5 metres to achieve quality images in night mode.

The HIQ-5350 dome is an IP camera with PoE support enabling power to be supplied via the same cable as for the Ethernet connection, making installation and system configuration simple and quick. The camera is delivered with a powerful VMS software included.  The Hiqview Vision software is able to support system deployment and is capable of managing up to 64 IP Hiqview cameras.

This camera is suitable for monitoring open environments and important entrances, such as retail stores, classrooms, bank lobbies, and ATMs.
