Hangzhou, China and Essen, Germany

The new Hikvision DS-2CD8464F-EI Panda network camera recently won the coveted 2012 Red Dot Product Design Award.
The Red Dot Design Awards are organized on an annual basis by the Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen in Germany, and is one of the world's largest and most famous industrial design competitions. This year the competition attracted almost 2,000 product entries from manufacturers from all over the world.

The DS-2CD8464F-EI Panda network camera, specifically designed for home-surveillance purposes, was finally judged the winner of this prestigious award for its innovative design and appearance.

Equipped with an articulated bracket, the Hikvision Panda camera allows the flexibility to fully adjust its angles in order to better accommodate varying monitoring environments. With its built-in IR LEDs, it captures clear images in ultra-low illumination environments, and additionally offers users the benefit of wired and Wi-fi data transmission.

Hikvision's Panda camera now appears in both the "Red Dot Design Yearbook 2012/2013," and in the Red Dot Design Museum located in Essen, Germany; as well as in the online exhibition of the red-dot.de website.
