High resolution clear images with new Planet IP security camera

Taipei, Taiwan

Planet have released the new H.264 2 megapixel infrared varifocal internet security camera, the ICA-HM132, for meeting the next generation demands of a worldwide market.

The ICA-HM132 is an indoor fixed dome internet security camera and through the high performance 2 megapixel CMOS sensor, the ICA-HM132 is also equipped with a 2.7mm to 9mm varifocal auto iris lens, allowing easy installation and viewing angle adjustment.

The high performance chipset applied provides UXGA images at 1600 x 1200 at up to 15 frames per second, and 720p HD images at 1280 x 720 up to 30 frames per second with multiple H.264 streams and JPEG/MPEG4 streams that ensure simultaneous real time monitoring and high resolution recording at a lower bandwidth.

Compliant with IEEE 802.3af PoE interface, the ICA- HM132 security camera can be installed in places where there are no power outlets. The ICA-HM132 is complete with a store-to-NAS function. Therefore, it works alone and saves the video files to a NAS directly, which can save on PC resources and whilst monitoring the environment over a continuous 24/7 period. The ICA-HM132 includes DI/DO alarm application and SD/SDHC card support for local storage application, and supports 2-way audio that enables audio communication between local and remote ICA-HM132 sites by using the external microphone and speaker.
