ASIS 2010 will bring together more than 20,000 security, business and government professionals from more than 90 countries. The comprehensive education program will offer more than 180 sessions. ´

This year's exhibits floor will feature more than 240,000 net square feet of the latest security technology and innovations, allowing some 700 companies to demonstrate cutting-edge products and services.

From 2001 to 2008, Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf occupied what TIME Magazine described as "the most dangerous job in the world," playing a crucial role in the global war on terror. He has survived two assassination attempts; rooted out militants in his own government; helped conduct countless raids against Al Qaeda; and tracked Osama Bin Laden with technical and human intelligence.

Following the Sept. 11th terror attacks, the United States sought President Musharraf's support to fight the Taliban. With a vision for a modern, democratic, non-fundamentalist Islamic Pakistan, he was one of America's greatest allies in helping to fight the Taliban. President Musharraf will share his experiences on Thursday, Oct. 14 at 8 a.m.

Chesley B. Sullenberger III became an international hero on Jan. 15, 2009 when he and his crew safely guided US Airways Flight 1549 to an emergency water landing in New York City's frigid Hudson River, saving the lives of 155 people. The Airbus A320's two engines had lost thrust following a bird strike. Sullenberger and his crew won international acclaim for their actions that day, including the passage of a Congressional resolution recognizing their bravery.

Captain of what has been dubbed the "Miracle on the Hudson," Sullenberger is an aviation safety expert and accident investigator who also serves as the founder and chief executive officer of Safety Reliability Methods, a consulting company dedicated to management, safety, performance and reliability consulting. Sullenberger will speak on Wednesday, Oct. 13 at 8 a.m.

On Friday, Oct. 15, humorist and best-selling author Dave Barry will address attendees at the closing luncheon. For 25 years Barry was a syndicated columnist whose work appeared in more than 500 newspapers in the United States and abroad. In 1988 he won the Pulitzer Prize for Commentary. He has written 30 books.
