The Hiqview HIQ-6511 is coupled with a 1/3.2” CMOS sensor, 3~10.5mm @F1.4 vari-focal lens and has been designed with an all-IP architecture. 

H.265 is the new technology which enables IP cameras to provide higher and more efficient image compression rates. Compared with the traditional H.264 codec, H.265 is able to save bandwidth and storage space of up to 50%; i.e., under H.265 compression, users can enjoy smooth and high quality images with the HIQ-6511 at anytime and anywhere.

The HIQ-6511 offers image formats of H.265/ H.264/ M-JPEG as an option. At 5-megapixels, the HIQ-6511 reproduces effective quality images of 30fps @ 2592x1944. The camera supports multiple resolutions of 2592*1944/ 2048*1536 / 1920*1080 / 1280*720 / 640*360/ 320*240.  Users can choose the most suitable streaming format to meet the different environmental conditions.

The HIQ-6511 supports wireless 802.11b/g/n technology, and ensures secure transmission with WEP, WPA-PSK, and WPA2-PSK. The built-in wireless function with high security is able to rapidly integrate into a wireless network infrastructure and offers a safe and flexible option for different application environments.

Applied with digital wide dynamic range (D-WDR) technology, the HIQ-6511 performs well even under difficult lighting conditions, such as strong backlight or dim lights. And the IR camera, with built-in 28 Units 5φ + 2 Units High Power, 850nM IR LEDs, is able to support radiation distances of up to 30 metres, enabling the camera to create clear images under bad lighting condition. IR technology can make it a powerful tool to identify essential elements at night, such as people and vehicles.

Image noise can be caused by many factors, such as power interference, heat, and dim light sources, resulting in ineffective surveillance work. The HIQ-6511 removes image noise by applying DNR technology. It not only makes for clearer images, but also reduces video file size.

The network deployment of the HIQ-6511 is designed to be very simple, as the installation tool for searching for devices that are already connected to the Internet is provided. This feature alleviates the inconvenience of complex network settings.  As well, it is offered with a powerful VMS software, the Hiqview Vision, bundled for users to build an omni-bearing video management and surveillance system.  The Hiqview Vision software has the capability to manage a system with up to 64 IP cameras.

The HIQ-6511 is rated as IP66 which is water-proof and dust-proof  for monitoring in outdoor environments. This camera is made for day/night dual-purpose, and it is suitable for monitoring open environments and important entry points, such as parking lots, bank lobbies, retail stores, and train stations.
