H.264 mobile DVR supports 3.5G integration

Taipei, Taiwan

Kingtek CCTV Alliance Co., Ltd., also known as "KCA", recently launched their latest 4 channel H.264 mobile DVR, DV-2704, during the October Security Essen show in Germany. The DV-2704 is a rugged standalone mobile DVR with Linux OS embedded in advanced H.264 compression for stable video reproduction and storage during operation on the move.
The housing of the DV-2704 is specially designed in a convenient size that will fit easily into the space for the stereo in a vehicle, by the side of the driver's seat. This allows the DV-2704 to not only raise the level of security but also without affecting the layout within the car. With up to 10 different models of in-car-use cameras at KCA, the mobile DVR will display and record crystal clear road conditions and car license plate information 7/24, day and night. The video will be defaulted to record on to the hard disk drive installed inside the mobile DVR. Users can still select to save video fractions on the slot-in the SD memory card as a backup or further as a portable proof for law pursuit.

The DV-2704 mobile DVR can work with TPMS (Tyre Pressure Measurement) to record the car's tyre air pressure data over video. Furthermore, it supports display and monitoring of car speed whilst the vehicle is moving. The DV-2704 can be integrated with 3.5G mobile devices for video transmission in the air.

Other than these features and usage advantages, the KCA mobile DVR has built-in high security. It has a key-lock on the front panel to prevent any unauthorissed withdrawal of the detatchable DVR HDD, and there is a multi-level password protection to avoid any unauthorised access to the DVR from remote sites over the internet.
