Gunnebo recruits new head for competence centre cash automation

Gothenburg, Sweden

Gunnebo, the international security group, has recruited Niklas Thoresson, currently managing director of Q-MATIC Nordic Region, as manager of its competence centre cash automation.

Niklas Thoresson, who is 37 and a qualified market economist and technician, is joining Gunnebo from a position as MD of Q-MATIC Nordic Region, before which he was MD of Q-MATIC's subsidiary in the UK. Niklas Thoresson has also held leading positions in project management, development and marketing with companies in industrial automation and program development. He will become a member of Gunnebo's Group Management Team.

Between now and mid-February 2008, when Niklas Thoresson takes up his position, the competence centre will be headed by Gunnebo's president and CEO, Göran Gezelius.
