Dahua HDCVI camera finalist in GIT Awards

Hangzhou, China

The Dahua Technology 2-megapixel 1080p water-proof HDCVI IR-bullet camera DH-HAC-HFW2200E has been named as a finalist in the GIT Security Awards 2015.

The GIT Award for security technology is an annual contest conducted by GIT publishing house in Germany and has been running for 10 years. The jury went through a pre-selection process and has nominated around ten products in each category for final voting. Dahua HDCVI camera is classified under "C – CCTV, Video Security”.

Dahua in-house HDCVI technology allows for a fast and seamless upgrade from analogue standard definition to high definition without the usual associated technical hassle and at a lower cost, featuring analogue HD video transmission over-coaxial-cable or UTP.

With a built in 1/3-inch 3-megapixel CMOS sensor, the DH-HAC-HFW2200E supports 25/30fps@1080P, 25/30/50/60fps@720P real-time recording. Meanwhile, the camera supports IR LEDs with an effective range of 20 metres for poor-lighting conditions, and its special Smart IR technology accomplishes intellectual IR lighting adjustment to meet the needs of different surroundings. The elegant design of the HAC-HFW2200E’s satisfies surveillance requirements in areas where décor is an important consideration, and its dark glass allows the camera to be reasonably covert as its internal LEDs are invisible during daytime operation.

In addition, Dahua is working together with the HDcctv Alliance on HDcctv 2.0 AT, delivering true HDTV signals over any legacy CCTV coaxial cabling, along with plug and play up-the-coax remote control. HDcctv 2.0 AT, in particular, provides the means to upgrade any analogue system to HD quality video with remote control without disturbing the legacy infrastructure.
