GeoVision V8.3.3 Windows 7 and 64 bits Windows Support

GeoVision recently announced version 8.3.3 for the 32 bit and 64 bit versions of Windows 7 support. The latest version 8.3.3, released for the following systems and applications, has passed the testing for operation and been ready for release.

The 32-bit and 64-bit of Windows Server 2008 and Windows 7 are supported by the systems and applications from version 8.3.3. below listed:

GV-DVR is a 32-channel digital surveillance system for video, audio and data processing from local and remote network environments.

GV Hybrid-DVR is a versatile video management platform that supports transition from a legacy analog infrastructure towards a pure IP surveillance environment.

GV-NVR is a 32-channel IP video management platform that records video and audio data over TCI/IP networks.

GV-CMS is an application with central monitoring station support for large amount of video monitoring, system remote control, configure, and alarm notification.

GV-GIS is a central management system with geographic information and Google Map support to track vehicles routes and detect detours in the live monitoring and video playback.

GeoVision also announces its ongoing R&D projects to support ONVIF/PSIA (*) in its video surveillance products.

(*) ONVIF and PSIA are the two leading organizations which are both pursuing the goal of bringing interoperability to IP cameras. As delivering support to all IP cameras with ONVIF/PSIA protocols is a very important step forward in expanding the GeoVision's IP product exposure, GeoVision has joined both organizations as their member company and will soon support ONVIF and PSIA in all of its video surveillance products.

GeoVision has supported more than 200 models of IP cameras from major manufacturers, including ACTi, Arecont Vision, Axis, Bosch, Canon, IQinvision, JVC, Mobotix, Panasonic, Pelco, Sony, Verint, and Vivotek.
