The GV-3D people counter is to be one of the main themes on the stand. It supports cameras with 3D depth sense technology, generating a people count result with high accuracy (between 95%~99%). With the use of GV-3D people counter, retail stores are able to collect people count data for marketing or advertising purposes.
On the Geovision stand at ASIS the team will also present the latest developments in HD-SDI solutions, the HD-SDI hardware compression card and box camera. They are integrated seamlessly with the GV-NVR, a tribrid video management platform that supports combination of analogue CCTV, IP and HD-SDI cameras.
Visitors to the Geovision stand will also be able to see the major improvements to their IP camera series. All the Geovision series of IP cameras are now produced with WDR and defog functions. There are also several models being released with 3x zoom motorised varifocal lens with focus assist function, which is useful for focusing a megapixel IP camera, and with reduced manpower.
