The new LPR cameras target one of two applications: high-speed vehicle tracking for law enforcement or commercial parking and entry control. The GV-LPC1200 and GV-LPR1200 are designed for plate capture of high-speed vehicles traveling at up to 200kmh /124.27mph. They are 1 megapixel black-and-white network cameras equipped with multiple high-power LEDs with a maximum IR distance of 20m/65.6ft and intelligent IR to automatically adjust shutter speed in accordance with the scene to produce clear license plate capture even under low-light conditions.
For user convenience, the models feature a 10x zoom lens to allow remote adjustment of the focus and zoom via web interface. Rated IP67 weather-proof and operational under a wide temperature range (-40°C/-40°F to 50°C/122°F), these models are built to withstand harsh outdoor climates. For enhanced efficiency, GV-LPR1200 also contains a built-in LPR processor which matches the captured plate numbers with a user-defined database to open gates or barrier upon finding a match, which is an ideal solution for toll booths and other highway stations.
For applications that require colour details, Geovision offers the GV-LPC2210, GV-LPC2211, and GV-LPC2011. These models are 2 megapixel colour network cameras equipped with a super low lux CMOS image sensor to provide colour live view during the daytime. Each model also features multiple high-power IR LEDs to provide clear license plate capture for two lanes under low-light conditions at a maximum IR distance of 20m/65.6ft.
The motorised varifocal lens allows users to remotely adjust the focus and zoom through the web interface. It is IP 67 weather-proof and also able to work in environments with temperatures ranging from -40°C/-40°F to 50°C/122°F. The camera also feature P-Iris for automatic and precise control of exposure to produce images with enhanced clarity and contrast.
