Geovision latest product simplifies the professional video wall

Taipei, Taiwan

Geovision is releasing GV-Video Wall, the company's latest addition to their CMS product line, offering an easy and affordable solution for professional video wall creation and management.
GV-Video Wall runs on a standard PC and graphic cards, so it is easy to create a professional video wall without the need of special video wall hardware. The video wall is an essential part of large surveillance applications, in that it allows operators to view desired video source and applications simultaneously because of the combined large screens. It is especially useful for command and control centres where large number of cameras are in use.

GV-Video Wall is powerful and easy to use as it can manage and display up to 288 IP video streams, and control up to 200 video wall servers. Depending on requirement, operators may rotate channels in up to 16 scan windows, and enlarge images any time in up to 16 zoom windows.

According to Geovision setting up layouts is also easy with the GV-Video Wall. It scans the video network for Geovision and all 3rd-party ONVIF and PSIA-compliant video devices, and automatically detects them and displays them as an available video source for video walls. By simply using the drag-and-drop facility, video sources and supporting Geovision surveillance applications (such as E-map) can be inlayed, positioned, and resized across multiple monitors for video wall viewing.
