Frost & Sullivan, a global growth consulting firm, has honored GeoVision Inc. with the 2007 Industrial Technologies Award for product innovation of the year in digital video monitoring technology (Asia Pacific). GeoVision received the award for its introduction of the top GV-1480 full frame rate multifunctional digital surveillance solution.

According to Frost & Sullivan, the award was bestowed upon GeoVision for its excellence in new products and technologies within the digital surveillance industry and its innovation in a broad line of emerging products and technologies.

The Frost & Sullivan Industrial Technologies Award was first introduced in 2006 in Asia Pacific region. GeoVision of Taiwan honorably received the award for product innovation in this second year.

GeoVision's multifunctional GV-1480 digital surveillance system provides 16 channels of audio/video real-time monitoring and simultaneous recording at 30 FPS per channel. The system supports 3 advanced video compression codes - Geo H264, Geo MPEG4, and Geo MPEG4 (ASP), generating full frame rate and optimized digital video quality.
