Geovision, a professional IP-based video surveillance solution provider, and Advantech, an embedded system and automation solution provider, have entered into technology relationship in which both companies work together and validate the compatibility of GV-VMS on Advantech ARK-V and ARK-S series NVR.

The in-vehicle NVR features in-vehicle power (9~36Vdc, ISO-7637-2), certifications (E-Mark, IEC-60721-3-5 5M3), extension capability, and wireless communication (GPS/G-sensor/Wi-Fi/3G/CANBus) that allow installation on metros, trains, and buses. The integration to Geovision GV-VMS broadens the series offering to include video analytic functions and centralized management for large scale monitoring demands.

The solution is also pre-integrated with Advantech’s WISE-PaaS/RMM, an integrated IoT platform software service for remote management, system security, and pre-configured cloud services that mitigate development effort and empower IoT solution.

Through this collaboration, both companies are able to offer many differentiating features and capabilities to their customers.
