Fujinon introduces range of high resolution 5 mega pixel lenses

Willich, Germany

Fujinon has announced that it is expanding it's range of lenses and is introducing new high-resolution 5-megapixel lenses. Due to the IR correction these lenses are best suited for applications using visible light as well as under IR conditions. The new range of lenses will be shown at the forthcoming Essen security show, in Germany, in October later this year.
Initially two fixed focal length models will be available, namely the HF35SR4A-1/SA1 with a focal length of f=35mm and F2.0 and the HF50SR4A-1/SA1 offering a focal length of f=50mm and F2.8. Iris control is done manually or automatically by DC signal. The lenses were developed for sensors from 1/3” up to a maximum size of 2/3”. Like all Fujinon machine vision lenses, these lenses also offer the benefit of low distortion, minimized chromatic aberration, metal mounts as well as locking screws for iris and focus.

Due to the combination of high resolution and IR correction these lenses are best suited for the field of Machine Vision and CCTV as well as for traffic applications - such as automatic number plate recognition.

Besides this new development Fujinon will also show its well-proven Machine Vision lens series at the Vision in Stuttgart, such as the 1.5 and 5 MP lenses, 3CCD Zooms and 3CCD fixed focal length lenses, Fish Eye and UV lenses.
