Flir releases new firmware for FC Series ID

Flir has announced the release of firmware version V2.02.P03 for the FC-Series ID thermal camera line; Flir’s flagship intrusion detection thermal camera product.

The newly released version adds new capabilities including configuration of thermal settings from the newest release of United VMS Admin Center.  It also offers improved cyber security: IEEE 802.1x authentication with TLS or PEAP authentication.

In addition the new version includes a new target handoff to PTZ Tracker, which provides autonomous PTZ tracking of a target that initiated detection by the FC-Series ID camera.

A new version of the Discovery Network Assistant (DNA) tool also adds support for firmware upgrades and for changing the PAL/NTSC settings.

The new firmware also incorporates official integration with products from Milestone, Genetec, Exacqvision, Avigilon, Sureview and Honeywell.
