Flexible Viewing Solutions with New Pelco LCDs

Clovis, CA (USA)

Specifically designed for the unique demands of video security professionals, Pelco claims to offer the broadest line of LCD displays in the industry.

The 200 Series LCD monitors provide a high-resolution display of VGA signals in 17- and 19-inch versions that automatically adapt to the appropriate input resolution. They also have user-friendly on-screen menus and front panel controls for adjustments of standard monitor display parameters - an ideal choice for any DVR or PC application.
The value-based 300 Series LCDs, available in 15-inch, 17-inch, and 19-inch, are designed specifically for the security industry and provide high-resolution display of computer signals and/or composite video. These LCD monitors also automatically detect and display the correct video format (NTSC or PAL) and use four long life CCFT (cold cathode florescent tube) backlights to maintain the brightness level over time, eliminating the brightness degradation common in aging CRT monitors. Their high-resolution display and multi-mode functionality make them ideal for applications requiring a VGA display with composite video capabilities.
Many performance-enhancing features distinguish the 400 Series LCDs, which are also available in 15-inch, 17-inch, and 19-inch models. For example, the 3D digital comb filter with de-interlacing provides the most accurate processing of composite video signals for a sharper, cleaner picture. DVI (digital visual interface) input ensures that digital signals remain uncompressed (in their true digital form) without the distortion that may occur through analog-to-digital conversion. The PIP (picture-in-picture) feature allows for simultaneous viewing of surveillance camera images and PC screens. And the USB hub provides a single input with three outputs, adding to the overall flexibility of the 400 Series for use with the Pelco EnduraT keyboard.
