This firmware upgrade, v.1.21 improves monitoring efficiency and supports 13 languages to encourage multi-language usage. The upgrade also introduces video server utility and IFS drivers, with some upgrades to GeoVision's video server application software, including remote view log, emap server, remote emap, and MultiView.

Key features of the v.1.21 upgrade include:

• Monitoring settings page - lets the user configure monitoring preferences and easily manage monitoring from the monitoring menu. In addition to schedule recording in the previous version, there are two more settings enabled in the newest upgrade. The first one is the manual recording, which allows users to start recording manually. The second is digital input recording. This setting accepts recording start/stop by input triggers. You can also view service statuses, e.g. standby or normal recording, from the monitoring settings page.
• Remote ViewLog menu allows you to quickly link to the remote playback application.
• More advanced recording-trigger mode (by I/O or by Wiegand device) is available. Compared to previous version, you can choose camera 1 or camera 2 to record when the I/O or Wiegand device is triggered.
• 13 languages support - this is useful if you are using PC with different OS language than English (for example German) to configure or control via web browser.
