Fermax unveils new product line for 2015

Fermax Dominium Home Management

At two recent  held by Fermax at their HQ in Valencia, Spain and in London, Duox was the high point of both events. The focal point of these two working sessions was built around, what the company is calling, a groundbreaking Strategic Plan for 2015-2017, along with the new developments the firm is currently launching into the market: Key technological innovations to address new horizons.

The conventions included many special features: new players, new products and new perspectives. All the essential ingredients to successfully confront a changing society, as noted by Jeremy Palacio, new Managing Director of the company, in the opening speeches of both meetings. With his recently assumed leadership position, Palacio was responsible for opening the sessions, where he presented the general lines the corporation will follow in the immediate future.

The Duox was the high point at both meetings. This came as no surprise to Fermax, as the company believes it constitutes a global innovation in which Fermax has invested four long years of research. It is thought to be the first smart system able to operate with only two non-polarized wires and it does so without all the extra elements usually needed to date, such as switchers and distributors.

In practice, this means it is possible to install a high-quality transmission video entry system using the former wiring from any door entry system already present in the homes. This will mean a significant increase in sales of video entry systems in the coming years, especially in the European urban market. Moreover, it also means that, as no common elements are required, end users can select the terminals they prefer for their homes, whenever they want, without having to reach an agreement with the other residents.

The advantages of having this full digital system in the medium and long term are not only in the increasing number of video entry monitors installed, but also in the possibilities of having a new digital screen in the home. Before long, new applications and functionalities for this equipment will appear which previously could only be envisaged for high-end equipment installed with the Fermax Lynx system, which works with TCP/IP protocols.

In fact, the Lynx system shared the spotlight at the meetings, as the latest solutions developed as it was also presented, while demonstrating the current trend toward the development of customised apps.

To complete the new line of new residential solutions, Dominium was introduced, the division created by Fermax to supply the market with a robust and flexible home management system specifically designed for residential situations, with the possibility of controlling the system from the video entry system or carrying out installations exclusively for home automation.

Last but not least, the international sales network was stimulated by the launch of a new business line of Kits for residences called Way. The first product in this line is the Way Kit video entry system, a gateway product to gain a foothold in the mass distribution market for its features. The Way Kit is a video entry system kit with a 7” monitor, advanced functions, easy installation and a suitable price for this type of distribution channel.
