Qihan's QH-FT1001 Optical is developed to effectively solve this problem. For applications that require long-distance transmission of HD-SDI video signal, the QH-FT1001 is able to greatly extend the video signal transmission distance, through optical fibre transmission technology, for up to 20 km (with a single-mode fibre). The solution can be cascaded to achieve even longer distances in transmission.
The QH-FT1001 Optical is offered with both transmitter and receiver units for both ends of the transmission. As the Qihan patented HDFDI protocol is deployed and as it uses a clock signal regeneration, its receiver will receive the signal via optical fibre from the transmitter where the feed-in is a standard HD-SDI signal and will send it on as fibre-out format. At the receiver, the received FDFDI-protocol signal will be converted back to the HD-SDI standard video signal to transmit to the end device by using standard coaxial BNC interface.
The QH-FT1001 Optical meets SMPTE274M standards and supports 1-channel fibre optic transmission of all HD-SDI resolution and compatible video signals in long distance without distortion. It is designed with LED indicators for the status of power and optical transmitting status. It is designed with an ultra-micro structure and small format that requires no software settings. As it will automatically identify various resolution HD-SDI video inputs, the QH-FT1001 Optical requires no further set up and/or debugging by the users.
It supports plug-and-play, hot swappable, and free testing. The QH-FT1001 Optical is truly an intelligent solution for use in many applications, such as highways, traffic police, customs, shopping centres, stadiums, banks, transportation, residential complexes, and other applications requiring high-definition real-time remote monitoring.
