Expanded line of covert cameras

Ridgefield Park, NJ

Hanwha Techwin America has launched an extended line of covert and compact cameras. New models include the 2 megapixel SNB-6010B and SNB-6011B covert cameras and the 2 megapixel SNB-T-6010 teller camera. The new cameras are designed with capabilities that are ideal for banks, ATMs, height strips or data centre racks.

“We’re applying our extensive engineering expertise to deliver high resolution megapixel imaging solutions across a wide range of form factors that fill specific application niches,” said Tom Cook, Vice President of Sales, Hanwha Techwin America. “This next generation of covert/compact cameras provides more actionable information capabilities such as audio and face detection that can help improve forensic and investigative activities.”

The SNB-6010B/6011B 2 megapixel covert cameras feature new analytics including audio detection, face detection with metadata, tamper detection, virtual line, enter/exit and (dis)appear detection. Additional features include 120dB WDR, 30 fps at 1080P (full HD), audio I/O, alarm I/O, multi-streaming and a micro SDXC memory card slot. A 4.6mm pinhole lens on the SNB-6010B and a 2.4mm pinhole lens on the SNB-6011B provide a 71° or 134° horizontal viewing angle. The camera head is separated from the main unit, which includes a wall mount clip while the camera head bracket provides tilt, rotation and depth adjustment. Power is provided by 12V DC or PoE.

The SNB-T-6010 2 megapixel teller camera features a new housing specifically designed for use on a desk or counter. It includes the same lens as the Samsung 2 megapixel SNB-6010N full HD network camera complete with a 4.6mm pinhole lens. The easily installed tower can be raised or lowered for the ideal field of view.
