eXguard PRO now offers OPC functionality

London (UK)

TDSi a leading UK security solutions provider is pleased to announce the release of version 1.4 of their PC software, eXguard PRO. This version can now fully support an OPC server.

The OPC server supplies a Data Access (DA) interface, to allow retrieval of information on doors and card holders controlling the door's programmed state (locked, release etc.) An Alarm and Events (AE) interface will expose all events within the eXguard system to an OPC client.
The OPC server can connect to TDSi's eXfusion (an application that allows external data to be imported from another database) allowing the smooth integration into the existing eXguard system.
eXfusion has the same look and feel as TDSi's eXguard making it easy to navigate, there is also a new OPC option dialog added to enable key holder groups to be exposed as OPC tags and to help save time the exposed tags have been limited to members of specified key holder groups.
There's also no need to redistribute the OPC tags to the OPC service in case of s synchronisation issues as they are recreated every time eXfusion is started. This interface is available as a licensed add-on for eXfusion.
Also within Version 1.4 there is more features available such as support for network IP cameras, various DVRs and TDSi's MicroGarde controller to name a few.
