Etrovision releases 3 megapixel cameras with dual shutter and WDR

Taipei, Taiwan

Etrovision Technology have launched a set of 3 megapixel cameras incorporating dual shutter and WDR features, designed to deliver excellent image quality in a wide variety of lighting conditions.
In its new D-series megapixel IP cameras, Etrovision employs the latest generation 3 megapixel CMOS sensor working with its patented IP module. With a resolution of 1.3 to 3 megapixels, the D-series IP cameras supports WDR that performs above 120dB by using high and low shutter speeds to produce excellent video quality in low lux conditions.

While high bandwidth consumption has been a critical issue with megapixel cameras, Etrovision’s H.264 megapixel cameras have successfully solved one of the key drawbacks of existing MPEG-4 megapixel offerings. On average an H.264 megapixel camera uses 50% less bandwidth than an MPEG-4 megapixel camera. Etrovision’s newly released H.264 megapixel cameras offer sharp image quality at less than 2Mb bandwidth.

Furthermore, the D-series 3-megapixel IP cameras support more features such as dual streams, two-way audio, PoE, mobile security, wireless, and advanced video intelligent functions.
