According to the company, Etherwan equipment has been proven technically by world-leading IP camera manufacturers such as Brickcom, Dahua technology, Everfocus, Hikvision Digital Technology, Hunt Electronics, Merit Lilin Ent., Raylios Technology, Shenzhen Sunell Technology, TVT Digital Technology, Tyco Security Product, Shenzhen Wisiom Technology, Ingrasys Technology, Shany Electronic, Panasonic, Sony and Vivotek to provide connectivity solutions without any image delay.

In a network layout comprising of 20 cameras, NVRs, DVRs and laptops at the event were connected to 3 Etherwan EX 76000, managed hardened 16-port 10/100BASE PoE plus 2-port Gigabit Ethernet switches and 1 EX 63000, managed industrial 16-port 10/100BASE with 2-port Gigabit combo Ethernet switches. Another 20 IP cameras and laptops were connected to 5 EX 78000, managed hardened 10-port (8 x PoE) and 2-port Gigabit Ethernet switches allowing camera users to transmit video at the same time without any problems.

2 of Etherwan’s distinct Layer 2 switch, EX 65000, managed 8-port Gigabit fibre switches were also connected to 9 Ethernet switches, and 1 desktop screen on-site to mange bandwidth control for each port. This Layer 2 switch can manage the bandwidth the same way as a Layer 3 switch.
