Etherwan PoE Ethernet switch with wide power input

Taipei, Taiwan

Etherwan have released their latest hardened IEEE 802.3at 10/100BASE PoE Ethernet switch that features wide power input range and is compact in design.
The EX42200 is a compact sized, hardened unmanaged 5-port 10/100BASE PoE Ethernet switch. It provides four 10/100BASE-TX ports that support IEEE 802.3at Power over Ethernet standard with up to 30 watts per port for a total power budget of 120 watts, and a fifth 10/100BASE-TX or 100BASE-FX port for uplink.

It features none-blocking architecture for full wire-speed forwarding rates, auto-negotiation function and auto-MDI-X on UTP cables. It performs smart flow control via IEEE802.3x for full duplex and back pressure for half duplex.

As it supports DIN-Rail installation, and includes 18 to 57VDC redundant power inputs, it makes the EX42200 easy to configure in terms of the power options. An operating temperature range from -40°C to 75°C, ensures the EX42200 is ideal in outdoor / harsh environments where Ethernet connectivity is required for a small number of PoE devices to be deployed, for example, a bus surveillance system.
