ET&T releases latest mobile in-vehicle DVR

Taipei, Taiwan

ET&T Technology have just launched their new model, ETSA-661 mini car recorder that supports 1 channel of video input for D1 resolution (720x 480/720x576) at high frame rates of up to 30 frames per second.
The ETSA-661 mobile DVR accepts very wide power input from 9VDC to 36VDC, suitable for all types of vehicle on the market today. For A/V in-/out-puts, the termination points are mini din 6-pin connectors with a locking feature to avoid accidental disconnection and data loss by bumps and vibrations during transit on the roads.

Other than the embedded HDD, this mobile DVR, supports storage and backup on an SDHC card, and SSD. It offers 2 USB ports for external storage extension potential. Due to a high video compression ratio, one embedded 500GB HDD can store continuous recording for a minimum of upto 200 hours.

As the built-in Li-polymer battery is used as a backup when the power is off, the ETSA-661 will still continue in vigilant mode after the engine has been switched off and the driver has left the car. Its miniature size makes this DVR easy to conceal and also to install. It can installed in its own housing for a firm and fixed installation. It can also be equipped with an optional LAN port, in order to support live viewing from a remote site via the internet.
