Dubai police to source latest forensic technology at Intersec

Dubai Police have announced their intention to seek innovative forensic products at Intersec 2012 following the allocation of USD 137 million for a new forensics laboratory.
Dubai Police are ongoing supporters of Intersec and key exhibitors in the Homeland Security & Policing section. They have announced the allocation of USD 137 million (AED 500 million) to establish a new high-tech forensic and criminology laboratory. The lab is set to feature the latest developments within the forensic equipment industry and to offer cutting-edge technology in solving crimes.

The Homeland Security & Policing section at the show, set to take place in Dubai in January 2012, will bring the latest range of specialised electronics, forensic solutions, training and consultancy services, equipments for special forces, aviation security, physical security, tactical security, detection and disposal, as well as armoured vehicles and equipment. Intersec will also feature a state-of-the-art live mobile shooting range for visitors of the special display law enforcement and tactical security.
