Dahua releases its first Wifi video doorbell

Hangzhou, China

Dahua Technology, a leading solution provider in global video surveillance industry, is releasing its first battery powered, Wifi video doorbell – DB10.

Nowadays, traditional digital doorbells are becoming less helpful to residents who are often on the go. With no network connectivity and no video recording, the householder is likely to miss important visitors and information. To solve these problems, Dahua is releasing the Wifi video doorbell DB10 to enable users to answer the door from anywhere.

With an app operated via mobile phone and cloud services, users can answer the door from anywhere in the world. The app will forward in near real-time a video call which can be controlled and reviewed even when the user is on the other side of the globe.

The DB10 supports up to a 5 month service period in a single charge and can be recharged in 3.5 hours, enabling the user to spend as little time and attention on maintenance as possible. In addition the wire-free installation and Wifi connection for the DB10 makes it easy to install and use. Requiring no cabling or punching, users can just install the doorbell themselves.

The DB10 supports up to 1080P HD video intercom with super wide horizontal field of view (FOV=140°). These enable users to clearly see in the house via the cell phone and view who is visiting, largely reducing the risk of mistakenly letting someone unknown into the premises.

The PIR detection with 5 configurable zones enables the set up of advanced motion detection with specific detection areas, allowing for the detection of approaching visitors while greatly reducing false alarms.

The release of this first battery powered Wifi doorbell demonstrates Dahua’s commitment to continuous innovation and services.
