The award reflects CSL’s involvement in the development of the IoT Kitemark scheme

This pioneering scheme is focusing on the security of devices, something that has often been overlooked by many manufacturers. As more and more devices connect to the internet, the concerns over interoperability and security also increase. As a leader in developing collective best thinking, BSI have been working collaboratively with a range of stakeholders from product manufacturers to network providers and government agencies to develop assurance schemes that will be relevant today and in the future. Their assurance services include a new IoT laboratory to enable BSI to provide the testing services that suit market needs.

CSL’s involvement with the IoT Pilot Test is part of the company's commitment to ensuring all our products meet the highest industry standards. The CSL Router offers a new rapid deployment opportunity for CCTV. They are ideal for both permanent or semi-permanent installations where instant connectivity is essential. They provide ARCs, Installers and their end-users with an easy to use solution when broadband is unavailable, to ensure security is not compromised. The use of private networks also enables CSL to offer greater levels of security. Upon certification, the CSL Router could also be utilised to upgrade any legacy device within a wider system to a Kitemark standard.
