Cryptzone plans to double workforce

Gothenburg, Sweden

Cryptzone, a provider of encryption solutions and identity and access management (IAM), has disclosed ambitious recruitment plans following its acquisition last month by high-growth U.S. investment firm, Medina Capital.
Over the next 12 months Cryptzone is set to double its headcount, starting with expansion in Research and Development, which remains in Sweden. An Open House event will be held at the company's Gothenburg offices on 4 June to attract the brightest and most talented developers and cybersecurity professionals in the region, along with Cryptzone's partners and leaders from the security industry.

At the event Cryptzone will also share plans for its suite of encryption and IAM solutions. Senior partners from Medina Capital will be present to share why they believe Cryptzone is poised to lead the field in encryption and identity and access management.

"Medina Capital is injecting expertise and funding to help Cryptzone deliver rapidly on our vision for a new technology platform" said Håkan Saxmo, CTO at Cryptzone. "Cybersecurity is a daily challenge that every organisation must address if it is to thrive in a global and highly competitive market. We believe our IT security solutions are world-class not only because of the innovative architecture, but also for its ease of administration and usability."

According to the company, this is a rare opportunity for software developers to be involved in a new and high profile project right from the start.
