As reported by the media, in recent years city crime has been increasingly on the rise, demands for field security and surveillance are dramatically increasing to enhance social protection and minimize crimes. Qihan Technology has released the Household NVR series for home use and SME business use with the advantages of quick set-up, economic investment, and yet still with powerful performance.

The Household NVR series offer 2 models, the QH-N1004A and QH-N2008A. The QH-N1004A NVR is equipped with 4-channel inputs and there are 8 inputs on the QH-N2008A. They support 1080P/720P input resolution designed for crystal clear video reproduction in both recording and playback modes. There are multiple recording modes including automatic, alarm, dynamic detection and timing, all offered for the user to set, and they are equipped with one SATA 2.5 interface for a single hardware maximum of up to 4Tb.

The automatic setting of the NVR is a user-friendly feature that has been specially designed by Qihan. On this setting, the NVR will automatically search for nearby devices (such as cameras, switches,...etc.) to add in for quick system configuration; this savvy and thoughtful function will eliminate time consuming set up procedures at system installation and ease the operation. For transmission, the Household NVR supports TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, DDNS, SMTP(SSL), LAN, DHCP, PPPOE, UPNP and NTP network protocols at wire connection and USB extensive WIFI/3G to wireless.

The Qihan Household NVR models are Onvif and RTSP supported. They are designed in a compact size but with powerful high performance features and are easy to configure as well as being cost effective. According to the company, this series of NVRs when working with Qihan's HD cameras will make the package solution very efficient and yet with a high ROI for applications such as buildings, offices, shops/chain-stores, and places where HD surveillance is required at a fair price.
