The new Etherxtra series offers an easy, affordable way to upgrade existing analogue surveillance systems to IP while utilising existing coaxial infrastructure. There are seven models available in the series: ET1100C, ET1100C2, ET1100CP, ET1100CPp, ET1200CPp-RS4, ET4200CPp-RS8, and ET4200CPp-RS16.
All models of ET-1100 series are Ethernet over Coaxial Converters (EoC). The ET1100CPp utilizes Power Line Communication (PLC) for Ethernet extension of up to 1Km (RG-59/U). The ET1100CP series offer PoE+ (30W) and Power over Coaxial (PoC) with maximum data rate at 90Mbps (both Downlink and Uplink) and are 802.3af/802.3at compliant. Other than PoE power input from a PoE switch (RJ45), the ET1100CPp-R also accepts power from 48VDC external power input. The ET1100CPp-T is compatible with a 4-port standalone receiver and rack-mount 8/16-port receiver.
The ET4200CPp series are the rack-mount receivers that offer 2 models with 8-port or 16-port coax or 4-port 10/100/1000Mbps Ethernet switch with PoC. The coax ports of the receiver can connect to 8 or 16 units of ET1100CPp-T and/or IP cameras with full switching capability at 1000Mbps full-duplex communication performance. The total power output of PoC is up to 400 W from the ET4200CPp-RS8, while it is capable of 800 W total output power with the ET4200CPp-RS16. Both models offer maximum data rate (per port) of up to 40Mbps at downlink and 10Mbps at uplink over RG59/U coaxial cable for a maximum distance of up to 800 metres. The ET4200CPp series receivers feature auto MDI/MDI-X and are designed in a 19" 1U rack-mount chassis with AC power input.
The new Etherxtra series Ethernet-over-Coax products help existing analogue surveillance systems migrate to IP easily and hassle-free. All models within this new series are offered with a 5-year warranty.
