The ICA-W1200 supports H.264, MPEG-4, and JPEG compression formats to deliver excellent picture quality in full HD resolution at 30 frames per second (fps). Incorporating the new Exmor CMOS image sensor, the ICA-W1200 provides high quality images under all lighting conditions.

It brings clear vision at night by featuring 0.5 lux illumination and the 10 red-light LEDs built around the lens. The ICA-W1200 also uses new high-light LEDs to provide greater performance in the dark and the LEDs have a longer life. It offers colour pictures both by day and at night with the built-in CMOS sensor supporting up to 10 metres.

Together with powerful image processing attributes like wide dynamic range (WDR) and 3D digital noise reduction (3DNR) technology, the ICA-W1200 is able to filter the intense backlight surrounding a subject and remove noises from video signals. Thus, it brings an extremely clear picture quality even under challenging lighting conditions.

The ICA-W1200 is designed with a built-in passive infrared (PIR) motion detection sensor able to detect movement from as far as 6 metres away. When people pass by or in an emergency in the specified areas, the ICA-W1200 will “detect” and start recording automatically. With the additional function of alarm notification, it can send an e-mail alert or send captured images via FTP upload to a designated storage server.

Supporting a store-to-NAS function, the ICA-W1200 can work alone and save the video files to a NAS directly, which saves the PC resource whilst still monitoring the environment with motion detection 24/7. It also offers 2-way audio surveillance; therefore, the administrator can speak to anyone at the ICA-W1200 remote site with a speaker connected. In addition, the ICA-W1200 supports inputs/outputs to connect with external devices such as door sensors and relays to activate light or close doors.

The ICA-W1200 adopts IEEE 802.11n wireless technology to communicate at up to 150Mbps wireless signal rate and ensures secure transmission with WEP and WPA encryptions. It allows you to stream high quality video to remote sites and mobile devices. A site survey feature also allows you to view and connect to nearby wireless networks with ease. Compliant with ONVIF, the ICA-W1200 is therefore interoperable with third brand cameras on the market, which allows users to integrate with their existing surveillance network.
