Confidence Vidionics will supply security systems to the new head office in central London. The delivery commences immediately and is expected to be completed by July of this year.

Confidence International's restructuring of its British operations has yielded quick results. Recently acquired Vidionics Security System has signed a lucrative deal for the delivery of a complete access control system with integrated camera surveillance and internal communications to one of Britain's largest finance and insurance companies.

"The agreement, which is the latest in a string of large orders that Vidionics has received from this client, It is a great achievement for us, and an important confirmation that the restructuring we did in the UK is bearing fruit." says Christopher Bedding, GM at Confidence Vidionics.

The new agreement is worth a total of approximately eight million crowns not including additional service and maintenance agreements. The security solution is going to be installed at Legal & General's new head office that is currently under construction in central London. The 16,000 sq m office building will be monitored by surveillance cameras and all doors will be controlled with an advanced access control system.

"We've done our utmost to integrate the large and complex systems. Thanks to our expertise within traditional security technology and IP, the client is getting a tailored security solution with cutting-edge products in all areas. The deal now being signed proves that the collaboration has been advantageous to both sides" says Christopher Bedding.

The new system is user friendly and can be controlled from throughout the client's network. That means that it is not necessary to be on site in order to access the system. It is also possible to access the footage from the surveillance cameras in the building through the network. It is very helpful, for example, to be able to see whether someone is trapped inside during a fire. The solution also allows effective surveillance of the parking garage without the need for costly and unnecessary cable runs.
