Comprehensive Supreme cameras take Vivotek to new heights

Taipei, Taiwan

The launch of the Supreme series not only marks Vivotek's entry into a new era of technology for professional project markets but could also bring a new definition to HD surveillance video.

After the first Supreme series surveillance camera, IP8151, was launched in Sep. 2010, Vivotek unveiled the complete Supreme series lineup with all form factors in the following months, including box type, bullet type, speed dome, indoor/outdoor fixed dome, mobile dome and fisheye surveillance cameras. Vivotek believes that the Supreme series is the most comprehensive product line in the industry nowaday.

Vivotek's Supreme series surveillance cameras are designed for high-end applications which require high image quality in full HD as well as megapixel resolution and advanced features.

High resolution is crucial for high-end applications, while high frame rate is the key feature to ensure high-quality videos. Most of the Supreme series support exceptional 60 fps at 720p HD or 30 fps at 1080p Full HD with smooth, crystal-clear video when monitoring fast-moving scenes or action at high speed.

Some cameras come with Supreme night visibility, wide dynamic range (WDR), or P-Iris technologies and are able to offer optimal video in all lighting conditions. To make installation more user-friendly, Vivotek has adopted the smart focus system with remote focus and focus assist capabilities, guaranteeing hassle-free installation and maintenance. For some outdoor dome type cameras with extreme weatherproofing, the operating temperature is extended to -40° to +55°C (-40° to +131°F) to ensure reliable operation in harsh conditions.

These high end features effectively provide the Supreme series surveillance cameras with superior image quality, increased reliability and ease of installation. This makes these cameras suitable for many applications, whether the requirements are low lux, extreme weather, remote maintenance or other challenging conditions.

The complete Supreme series were featured recently at the Secutech, ISC West, and Ifsec shows. "The new Supreme series cameras boast superior performance and establish a new benchmark for Vivotek ", said Owen Chen, Chairman of Vivotek. "We are extremely satisfied with the performance of the Supreme series surveillance cameras, which really have helped Vivotek’s partners win many high-end project contracts. That’s why our sales revenues have continued to break into new heights over the last few months."
