Civintec releases high Security NFC reader

Designed to optimise physical access, the CN56X0B access reader has been introduced by Civintec and features a multi-technique system to work with all the main 13.56Mhz smart cards, such as Desfire EV1, Mifare Plus and Sony Felica to enhance security through high encryption and multi authentication, and with ISO18092 NFC for smartphone solutions.
The CN56X0B access reader is designed to allow system expansion yet still to maintain high security. It supports multi-RFID smart card options, such as Mifare, Ultralight, Mifare Plus, Desfire EV1, Felica, and is available with embedded SAM (Secure Access Module) upon request.

This is a smart access device with an NFC solution; it supports ISO/IEC18092 NFC (Peer-to-Peer) for smartphone applications and with the 9-24V wide operating voltage and multi-interface (TCP/IP, Wiegand, RS232/485, C&D and ABA), the CN56X0B offers a high degree of flexibility in system integration.

As it features DHCP/Static IP address assignation and TCP/IP online upgrade via the website, it is easy to carry out a firmware upgrade and IP parameter settings over the internet.

The CN56X0B is also a low power-consumption device. It has been built incorporating TCP/IP via a relay and is tamper-proof, it also supports remote reading and high speed transmission to achieve low cost server management.
