CCTV Lighting for Prisons

Northumberland (UK)

Following a number of recent site surveys, Raytec, the specialist suppliers of CCTV Lighting, are urging all prisons and military installations to review their lighting. High security sites need the highest quality images, need to minimise the "down time" of a security system, and as multi-camera installations they also need to consider ongoing running and maintenance costs.

David Lambert, Marketing Director of Raytec, said "Prisons, military installations, and all high security sites should be looking to use LED illuminators. In addition to low running and maintenance costs, LED's provide long life and ensure the site is always secure. Unlike bulb based systems, LED's do not "blow", leaving the CCTV system vulnerable at night. With LED illuminators the site is ALWAYS secured, day and night, a must for high security installations".
A new range of LED illuminators from Raytec produce even illumination for high quality night-time performance and are supplied with a 5 year warranty to guarantee long life. The RAYMAX Infra-Red and RAYLUX White-Light illuminators also provide exceptionally low running and maintenance costs with a potential saving of £368 per unit, per year, compared to a traditional 500W illuminator.
