Provideo have adopted the new powerful Techwell chipset solution to develop their 8/16 Channel real-time software compression card, hardware compression cards, as well as  HD-SDI cards; they are available in model Nos. TW-201-8, TW-320 and TW-400.

The TW-201-8 is a software compression card that features real-time PCI-E to capture high-quality 8 Ch video and 8 Ch audio in recording. It includes 8 high quality NTSC/PAL video decoders that convert analogue composite video signals into digital data at D1 resolution for up to 240/200fps. It also includes an audio codec to convert four audio channels from analogue to digital, too.

The TW-320, a 16ch-video and 16ch-audio capture PCI-e Card, supports high quality audio and video capture through using the solution of the Techwell new powerful chipset for real- time D1 encoding. It offers high quality NTSC/PAL 10 bit video decoders to efficiently convert analogue composite video signals into a digital format. It also offers an audio codec that has 16 audio analogue-to-digital converters. As it employs a standard H.264 hardware encoder, the result after high ratio video compression is that the digitised video can be optimised in size to be transmitted via limited internet bandwidth as well as for long recording duration.

The TW-400, PCI-E HD-SDI video input card, is a latest generation audio and video hardware compression card. As it uses advanced standard H.264 video compression algorithms, the TW-400 achieves excellent image quality and high compression ratio. It supports up to 1080p real-time live view, full-HD video real-time compression and dual-stream, it also supports RAW video and JPG snapshot functions.

All the above are compatible with Provideo's IO card: PV-154A / PV-154L (low profile) and  IOC-100 / IOC-100L (low profile). Not only working with Provideo DVR cards, the IOC-100 I/O card series also supports any manufacture's DVR cards on the market today.

For system development and integration, Provideo offers an SDK software tool that supports Win XP/ Vista, Win7 Drivers (WDM Interface), and Linux systems; these software tools are suitable for further and advanced development on the above card devices.
