Canon demonstrates commitment to surveillance market

London, UK

At Ifsec recently, Canon Europe displayed its entire network camera portfolio, which features full HD and MP network cameras and includes the full HD resolution VB-H41, VB-H610VE, VB-H610D and VB-H710F.
These latest cameras, benefiting from Canon’s 70 year heritage in lens design and manufacture, all incorporate specially designed lenses with multiple double-sided aspherical elements to produce maximum optical performance.

Each model delivers outstanding zoom and wide angle performance thanks to the inclusion of glass with a high refractive index. Low light performance is enhanced with the use of an original Canon lens coating which reduces image ‘ghosting’ in IR light situations, so users can be confident that security can be maintained whatever the circumstances.

As well as providing a chance to see the latest network camera products, Canon also showcased a variety of features enabled by its technology heritage and know-how including outstanding low light performance, wide angles of view and unique PTRZ functionality. Canon’s growing commitment to the security surveillance market was also highlighted by a variety of demonstrations of integration with major solution partners.

Julian Rutland continues: “Our product line-up is growing year-on-year. Our focus on quality, which can be clearly seen in our competitive range of full HD network cameras, enables us to offer systems integrators and partners more value than ever before. Ifsec gave us the opportunity to show our complete proposition and to have the conversations that will transform our business in the year ahead.”
