Brickcom's first full HD 3-megapixel newtwork security camera
Taipei, Taiwan
Users can view live feed from anywhere by using their internet browser or 3G mobile phone. The fixed box series can also transmit the video to portable devices through other technologies, such as Power over Ethernet (PoE), WiMax, NAS, Digital Frame and power lines.
The wireless model of the 3-megapixel network security camera is WFB-300A; it combines IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n wireless compliance and WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) to create a secure wireless solution which is easily installed in locations where ethernet cabling is difficult or expensive to install with wireless coverage. By utilising dual band WiFi, the WFB-300A is able to deliver smooth video and audio surveillance without the interference that single band WiFi encounters with network traffic from devices such as laptops, Bluetooth, and microwaves. The WPS function enables users to setup a secure wireless network connection between the camera and access point with the push of a button. Each Brickcom FB-300A is equipped with an SD/SDHC memory card slot which allows for the security camera to record video to a memory card if the connection is ever lost, ensuring that valuable video footage is never lost.
The DI/DO terminal and IVA applications work together to enhance the surveillance protection and utility offered by the FB-300A. The DI/DO terminal allows users to connect the FB-300A to external alarm and sensor devices for added security protection. In addition to built-in motion detection function, the FB-300Aa model can also support intelligent video analysis which can be used for applications such as object tracking, people counting, and forbidden region alarm alerts.
