The VD-500Af Series has a temperature range of -20 ºC to 50ºC (-4ºF to 122ºF) and meets IK10 vandal-proof and IP66 weather proofing requirements to provide high reliability and rugged performance in outdoor surveillance environments.

The VD-500Af Series comes with a wide-angle lens, and pan 35°/ tilt 0-90° / rotation 180° wide angle adjustment, allowing a wide open view for maximum coverage. In contrast to many other dome cameras, the VD-500Af Series is available with exchangeable lenses for differing conditions. Moreover, the VD-500Af Series is embedded with a built-in micro SD/SDHC memory card slot and can support local storage, making for more reliable surveillance results.

The VD-500Af Series provides 5 megapixel resolution and full HDTV video at 1080P at 30 fps as well as supporting H.264, motion JPEG and MPEG-4 in multiple streams to meet different quality needs. With a 5 megapixel sensor, the VD-500Af Series provides crisp video and sharp colour fidelity.

The VD-500Af Series is designed for easy installation. With the BNC TV-Out connector, the camera can be connected to a monitor, which makes it easier for installers to adjust the picture focus while setting up the camera. The camera supports different power inputs such as PoE 802.3af, and DC12V.

The VD-500Af Series supports different M12 lenses for variable needs. Users can select the appropriate lens according to the focal length and lens view angle (H/V/D).
