The OB-300A & OB-500A Series support H.264, motion JPEG and MPEG-4 in multiple streams to meet different quality needs. They are also equipped with a removable IR-cut filter, auto light sensor and IR illuminators (effective up to 15 metres), enabling the OB-300A & OB-500A Series to provide reliable day and night video surveillance.

They are designed with powerful software features to maximize the camera's capabilities and adapt to variable environments to provide the optimal video quality. The Brickcom 'Intelligent Multi-Profile Sensor Management' supports 5 profiles, allowing users to configure multiple image parameters, such as brightness, contrast, and exposure. This will enable the camera to capture better video surveillance in changing lighting environments. The profiles can be configured to switch automatically according to the user-defined schedule. Up to 3 pre-set profiles (day, night, and sunset) and 2 user-defined profiles are provided for the camera for unprecedented flexibility.

The OB-300A & OB-500A Series offers a wide variety of data transmission options to meet different application requirements. They support a DC12V power supply and PoE (Power over Ethernet) which allows the cameras to transmit data and receive power through the same cable.

With the SDHC/Micro-SD card inserted, the Brickcom OB-300A & OB-500A Series can record video locally, and the user can either play back the video clips right on the camera's web UI or download them for viewing at a later time. With live view, recording and playback functions incorporated into the camera the Brickcom OB-300A & OB-500A Series are complete stand-alone surveillance systems. Also the DI/DO terminal allows users to connect the OB-300A & OB-500A Series to an external alarm and sensor devices for added security protection.

For protection against the elements the OB-300A & OB-500A Series outdoor bullet cameras are furnished with an IP67-rated, weather-proof housing to withstand rain and dust ingress. The OB-300A & OB-500A Series are also equipped with built-in fan and heater, allowing the cameras to operate perfectly in a harsh temperature range of -40°C to +60°C (-40°F to +140°F). These features enhance performance and reliability in extremely cold and warm weather conditions.
