San Jose, Costa Rica

The FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup Costa Rica 2014, watched over by Brickcom surveillance cameras, recently took place in Ricardo Saprissa Stadium in San Jose, Costa Rica, which was built by Deportivo Saprissa.
Deportivo Saprissa, which was founded on July 16, 1935, is a football club playing in the tournament from the Costa Rican First Division. In order to control and react to all the potential situations that might happen in the stadium and to enhance the existing security system with less labour, Deportivo Saprissa decided to co-operate with the experienced installer, Autotronics, and deployed 30 Brickcom OB-300Af IP cameras, 8 Brickcom VD-301Af IP cameras, and 6 Brickcom OSD-040D IP cameras in the Ricardo Saprissa Stadium.

The VD-301Af vandal camera is capable of delivering full-HD video (1920x1080), or maximum 3 megapixel resolution video (2048x1536), offering great image detail during the day time and at night. In addition, with such features as weather-proofing (IP66), vandal-proofing (IK10), and built-in IR LEDs, the VD-301Af is suitable for most outdoor environments.

The Brickcom OB-300Af outdoor bullet camera also has IP66 weather-proofing and is able to withstand the high temperatures and humidity experienced in the football stadium.

The Brickcom OSD-040D outdoor speed dome camera is equipped with a 36X optical zoom lens and also WDR functionality, and supports 360° continuous panning to provide high quality video and an immediate response to the PTZ commands. In addition, with the IP66 housing and the built-in fan and heater, this camera is designed to be suitable for outdoor environments.
