Brickcom IP looks after Iranian hospital in Dubai

Dubai, UAE

The new Iranian Hospital in Dubai has deployed an IP network video surveillance system with 42 Brickcom FB-300Np IP cameras and 30 Brickcom OB-300Np IP cameras.
In order to provide better health services for patients of around 150 different nationalities, the new Iranian Hospital – Dubai, a state-of-the-art and full-service hospital, was opened in 2013 on the Al Wasl Street. As part of the commitment to providing best in class service, the hospital management at the Iranian hospital wanted a video surveillance system that could help them to monitor not only their patients, visitors and employees, but also the facilities and equipment in the hospital campus, 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.

The Brickom fixed box IP cameras and the Brickom outdoor bullet IP cameras used for the project are all equipped with the Sony Exmor 3-megapixel image sensor, which is one of the key factors in being able to deliver crystal-clear full-HD 1080p video both during the day and at night. With Brickcom's WDR enhancement technology, these cameras have been engineered to handle the glare, high contrast, strong backlight, and light reflection in the scene and still provide a high-quality image. The OB-300Np outdoor bullet IP camera comes with IP67 weather-proof capabilities and has a wide operating temperature range of up to 60°C, which is excellent for outdoor use in Dubai where the temperature levels are often very high. Furthermore, the OB-300Np features Smartfocus which allows the user to adjust the zoom and focus over a remote network connection, which makes the camera installation quick and easy since the user can zoom in or zoom out from the scene from their base at the control centre.

The reliability and video quality offered by these cameras now allows the Iranian Hospital staff to be more efficient in risk management and thereby improves the overall service quality of the hospital.
