Brickcom cameras win Govsec Award 2013

Dallas, Texas

The Brickom OB-300Np 3-megapixel superior night vision bullet network camera has won the 2013 Security Products' Govies Government Security Award.
The Security Products’ Government Security Awards (a.k.a Govsec Awards) were launched in 2009 and re-launched as The Govies in 2011. Participation in this year’s programme was up 21% over 2012, with 64 entries. The winning entries earn the opportunity to display their products in the Govies booth at the annual Govsec Conference & Expo, which was held in the period of May 13-15 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C.

Security Products magazine announced the winners in the 2013 Security Products’ Govies Government Security award competition on 15 April 2013 in Texas, USA. The awards honour outstanding government security products in a variety of categories. The judges selected the top entries in the 2013 categories and named them winners.

According to the company the Brickcom's OB-300Np received the "Govies" Government Security Award for its ability to meet the higher requirements of the market and to fulfill the needs of high-end professional IP surveillance projects.

Other than the Govsec award, Brickcom's FB-300Np 3-megapixel superior night vision fixed box network camera was also shortlisted for CCTV Camera Equipment Product of the Year at the Ifsec and Firex Awards last month.
