Aver launches first speed dome in IP camera line

Taipei, Taiwan

Aver is introducing the company's first speed dome camera, the SD1306 to it's collection of IP cameras. This 1.3 megapixel IP camera is designed to be perfectly compatible with Aver's NVRs and hybrid DVRs to offer a truly first-class surveillance solution.
Aver’s new speed dome camera comes with a customisable group patrol function allowing users to set up to 8 patrol groups with each of them containing a maximum of 24 preset points, so that the camera can automatically scan preset locations ensuring it captures those key areas.

Alternatively, the auto pan function allows users to see scenes in high detail, during the auto pan continuous scanning period. There are a wide range of settings available in the auto-pan function including speed, direction and even defining the start/end preset points. In addition, the auto recovery function allows the PTZ camera to return to home should connection become lost or unstable for a pre-set period of time.

The cameras’ powerful 22X optical zoom with auto/manual focus control, makes the SD1306 well suited across a spectrum of large open areas, such as shopping malls, warehouses, harbours, airports, parking lots and campuses. Its 360° endless pan as well as tilt from 10° to 170°, ensures it doesn’t miss anything. The camera’s IP66 rating confirms it is dust tight and protected against powerful water jets. The built in two-way audio allows security personnel to verbally communicate with people around the camera and for them to respond. In addition, the adjustable shutter time ensures that the best image quality is still available during day and night time.

The SD1306 is also engineered to perfectly complement Aver’s NVRs and hybrid DVRs which are all designed to achieve exceptional image quality and reliability ensuring recordings will be of the highest standards and stored in the safest way.
